The Garden of Delights more expensive?
For years the price of a ticket for The Garden of Delights has been very modest.
We owe that to sponsors, funds and governments. They contribute to the program of the festival and make it accessible to a wide audience. The governments are standing next to us, but the contributions from the funds are running back. The price must be slightly up.
You pay the three-course dinner, The Table of Delights, as a guest at The Garden of Delights. The costs of dinner are rising and we want to continue to deliver quality in a special way.
The entry price of The Garden of Delights will therefore increase to € 48 this year.
€ 25, - is spent on: Amuse and / or starter, main course, dessert, tables and chairs, a roof over your head and the service.
€ 1, - is spent on the bank charges for the reservation.
€ 12 is spent on the program.
€ 4 is spent on insurance, permits, administration, travel expenses, preparation, PR and marketing.
€ 6, - is spent on the food, sleeping places, sanitary, materials and salary of our team.
The place where we are allowed to work is unaffordable. We are all guests at the estate.
Artists demand modest wages and volunteers keep coming because you are an incredibly nice audience to work for.
